Location: This role will be remote in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii
Reports to: Donor Systems Manager

Summary:
This role will be a key technical resource supporting The Trevor Project's donor systems and revenue channels. The Data Operations Associate is responsible for the health, integrity, and flow of fundraising data, primarily through maintaining data synchronization processes, developing reporting, and managing third-party integrations essential for revenue operations. This position ensures accurate and timely data is available to inform fundraising strategy and donor relations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute data syncs and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes between the primary CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and various third-party revenue channels, ensuring data consistency and accuracy (DSAI, Direct Mail, NCOA)

  • Develop, maintain, and execute reports and data extracts to support finance, development, and marketing teams for reconciliation, campaign analysis, and list generation.

  • Be the main point of contact for data requests from the advancement team and channel leaders.

  • Provide first-line technical troubleshooting and resolution for data integrity issues, system errors, and integration failures across donor systems.

  • Handle duplicate merges, regular data updates and answering basic system questions.

  • Configure efficient ways to batch data into Salesforce when integration is not possible or to disaggregate third party data flows.

  • Administer and configure donor-facing technology platforms and internal CRM settings (e.g., user profiles, custom objects, validation rules) in partnership with the development and technology teams.

  • Work closely with revenue teams and marketing and content on all systems support.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all data flows, system integrations, reporting processes, and data quality standards.

  • Work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all work

  • Demonstrate a commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of belonging

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in:

  • Administration and data management of a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, Raiser’s Edge, Dynamics).

  • Working with data querying languages or tools (e.g., SQL, SOQL, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions) for data extraction and manipulation.

  • Experience with data integration or ETL tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Zapier, Informatica) to connect disparate systems.

  • Spoken and written English

  • Demonstrate successful planning and problem-solving skills, including multitasking and working well within tight timelines
