Summary:
This role is responsible for providing direction and operational support for The Trevor Project’s annual integrated direct/digital fundraising campaign strategy as well as serving as the point of contact for the organization’s fundraising agency/vendor(s) of record. You will have primary responsibility for the implementation of all integrated direct/digital fundraising plans and have oversight and project management responsibility for all direct & digital appeals. You’ll work closely with the Individual Philanthropy, Development Operations, and the Marketing, Communications & Content Teams - ensuring alignment with organizational messages, supporting donor data management, and executing complex fundraising campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for managing all aspects of Community Philanthropy’s integrated fundraising campaigns, to include direct mail, email appeals, advertising, search engine marketing, mobile fundraising, and social media fundraising
Create effective segmentation strategies that employ integrated direct/digital best practices and improve donor participation and engagement
Leads the project management (through Asana) of integrated direct/digital fundraising campaigns to produce cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship pieces including direct mail pieces, letters, emails, web, and other media pieces
Manage projects with vendors including direct marketing agency, printers, mail house, merge purge, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
Previous direct response marketing experience at an agency, nonprofit, or higher education institution. At least 3-5 years experience in this area.
You have deep knowledge of both the art and science of direct response marketing and a proven track record as a fundraiser with individual gifts.

Direct marketing best practices including A/B testing; developing solid fundraising tests and controls and writing and editing fundraising appeals, for digital and print.
Prior experience using digital tools including email marketing and SMS/mobile giving platforms
Analytical with a high level of confidence working with data and developing data segmentation
Familiarity with using the Google platform including Google Docs, Sheets, and Presentations.
Keen understanding of the importance of data in direct marketing. Comfortable and swift with using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
You have a strong facility with fundraising software (Salesforce preferred) and a broad understanding of donor acquisition, retention, digital giving, and moves management.
You have used and can develop HTML/emails and SMS messages in various platforms such as MailChimp and texting platforms.
Proficiency in spoken and written English
