Compliance Specialist

Department: Programs
Reports To: Director of Risk Management
Location: Hybrid – Alexandria, VA

FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Compliance Specialist is an integral member of Good360’s Compliance team, which works to maintain the integrity of donated goods by ensuring they are distributed and used as intended to help close the need gap. This role supports ongoing compliance efforts through regular audits, data verification, and member vetting to ensure nonprofit partners meet Good360’s standards and program requirements.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following

  • Conduct monthly audits of active nonprofit members to ensure adherence to Good360 policies and requirements.
  • Document audit findings, prepare reports and escalate issues of concern or potential noncompliance.
  • Review and vet member accounts to confirm the accuracy and completeness of information and required documentation.
  • Maintain and update partner account records across all platforms, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in customer service. Background in compliance, risk management, or quality assurance preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and attentive to details.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM or data systems; Salesforce and/or NetSuite experience preferred.

Salary Range
$50,000 – $55,000 annually

Note: Compensation is based on a candidate's experience, skills, education, and geographic location. This range is based on Washington, D.C.–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) market data; offers to candidates outside this area will reflect local market data.

Work Location
Hybrid, based in our Old Town Alexandria, VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
