Social Media Manager

Department: Marketing & Fundraising
Reports To: Senior Director of PR & Communications
Location: Hybrid (Based in Alexandria office)

FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Type: Full-Time

Good360 is seeking a mission-driven, dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to develop and implement our social media content and strategy. This role is responsible for creating content that will grow our online presence, elevate our brand across digital platforms, and engage with our community. This role is ideal for a collaborative and creative person who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about using social media to mobilize support, share impact, and elevate the voices of communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with organizational pillars and goals and amplifies Good360’s mission, impact, and programs.
  • Create and manage engaging content (graphics, videos, other social content) for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Collaborate with programs, fundraising, marketing and broader communications teams to amplify key milestones and initiatives.
  • Should understand “audiences” and measure, monitor and target content to various audiences across multiple platforms. E.g. Thought leadership vs. Fundraising content.
  • Monitor social channels for community engagement opportunities with corporate or nonprofit partners, donors, community partners/members, etc.,
  • Manage social media calendar and ensure consistent and authentic brand voice and messaging.
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust content strategy to optimize reach and engagement.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited higher education institution
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing social media strategy for a brand, nonprofit organization or agency
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe)
  • Knowledge of analytic tools (Google analytics, Meta insights)
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
