VP of Sales

Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Sales, you will own and execute DataSeers’ end-to-end SaaS sales strategy. Your mission is to drive sustainable, scalable revenue growth by acquiring new logos, expanding existing accounts, and optimizing our sales operations for efficiency and performance. You will focus on B2B enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong emphasis on recurring revenue, customer value, and long-term relationships. This role demands a deep understanding of SaaS business models, complex sales cycles, and the nuances of selling data-driven software solutions to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a high-impact SaaS sales strategy aligned with overall company growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Own the full sales funnel—from pipeline development and qualification through to deal closure and handoff to Customer Success.
- Define and optimize sales KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting models to ensure data-driven decision-making and predictable revenue growth.
- Leverage customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to fine-tune messaging and go-to-market positioning.
- Continuously improve the sales process and tech stack (including CRM and sales enablement tools) to drive efficiency and transparency.
- Act as a strategic voice in the organization, collaborating with Product and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the customer lifecycle.
- Represent DataSeers at key industry events, executive meetings, and partner engagements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in selling complex SaaS, data analytics, or fintech solutions.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth in high-growth or scale-up environments.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
