Volunteer: HR Generalist - This is a remote role (within the US) and ideally would be for a 10-20 hour per week volunteer commitment.

What You’ll Do
- Help the Executive Director and hiring managers with onboarding new volunteers. We add about 4 volunteers a week and take them through a formal offer-letter process. You will be a core part of this process, which requires 1-2 hours 3-4 days per week (Mon - Fri)
- Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding
- Identify training and development needs within the organization and develop and deliver training programs to address those needs
- Partner with managers to create individual development plans for employees and track progress towards goals
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Generate reports and analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Must be able to attend the weekly HR Team Meeting at 4:30 PM PT every Thursday
- At least 10 hours each week during our core team hours M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your time zone

- You are currently located in the US and can work one or two hours that overlap with US PT per week
