The origin of the Covid-19 pandemic in January 2020 brought to light a whole host of inequities in minority communities throughout the US. A predictable consequence was a variety of mental health problems without resources. This became the inspiration for Voices of Hope Project, a 501c3 to provide access to virtual mental health programs and services by qualified professionals designed to bridge the gap through education, inspiration, and training. Funding from multiple sources will pay the costs for those seeking financial assistance. Besides an approval process, all funds are to be dispersed through the project to control and track expenditures and outcomes measured through a research tool validated by an accredited academic institution for validity and reliability.
