About the Role

Upsolve is looking for a curious, mission-driven Growth Content Manager to help shape how millions of Americans find and engage with financial education online.

You'll own and systematically maintain a large library of financial education content, primarily around bankruptcy, ensuring every page is accurate, up to date, optimized, and user friendly. This includes managing regular updates, improving clarity and usability, and ensuring strong performance in search. You'll experiment with new ways to reach people in a rapidly changing search landscape, and collaborate closely with our Data and Growth team to make smart, evidence-based decisions about what to write and what to improve.

You'll also manage a small team of freelance writers and editors and contribute to email marketing campaigns, all while helping us rethink what content looks like in an AI-first world.

What You'll Do

• Own, maintain, and systematically update Upsolve's financial education content library, focusing on accuracy, user engagement, and performance
• Work closely with the Data and Growth team to execute on content and SEO strategies while staying up to date on search behavior shifts (including AI-driven search)
• Use analytics and performance data to identify what content to update, improve, or fix
• Manage freelance writers and editors to maintain high-quality, consistent content
• Support and oversee email marketing campaigns
• Regularly update content to keep it accurate and performing well
• Help maintain and refine Upsolve's style guide and editorial standards

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in content writing, editing, or content management, not just marketing (We care more about how you think than your exact background – apply even if you don’t check every box.)
• Strong writing and editing skills. You will need to make complex financial topics simple, clear, and human
• Genuine excitement about Upsolve's mission
• Comfort working with data, or eagerness to learn
• Basic understanding of SEO and how content performs in search
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a remote, fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with or interest in personal finance, debt, or financial education
• Experience email marketing or drip campaign strategy
• Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Contentful, or CMS platforms

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000
