Uprooted Academy empowers first-generation, low-income students of color by building social capital, creating connections, and providing emotional support for upward economic mobility. Through a hybrid approach of virtual and in-person support and leveraging technology, they scale their impact by partnering with schools and youth-serving organizations to connect students to colleges and companies that help them achieve their dreams. With over 10,000 students utilizing their community center and 450 college and career advisors impacting 173,250 students across 45 states, Uprooted Academy is positioned as a leader in college access and support for underrepresented students.
