Job Summary

Volunteer: Volunteers have a heart for giving back. The Transcription Specialist Volunteer will transcribe key messages for professional documentation. This volunteer will be privy to key information on operations and policies for UniversalGiving®. With proven track record, may be able to be transcriptionist for future published pieces by UniversalGiving® CEO for her blog Living and Giving.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe voicemails from the management team for blog, publications, social media
• Transcribe voicemails from the management team for UniversalGiving® policies/manuals
• Transcribe Team Meetings/video and messages from the UniversalGiving® leadership
  
  

Qualifications

• Excellence in Writing, Grammar and Communications
• A strong command of the English language
• Excellence in attention to detail
• Skills on Google Docs
• A Plus: Skills on finding photos for the transcriptions for blogs

Duration and Location

• The position is available part-time (5-20 hours per week)
• Minimum 6 months commitment
• We provide remote positions with a highly globally focused team from more than 20 countries, including Russia, China, Japan, Ukraine, Georgia, the Philippines, Haiti, Germany, Canada, the Kurdish population, South Korea, the U.K., Brazil, and many more.
