JOB SUMMARY

The SVP of Administration is a newly created role responsible for GivePower's global administrative and operational infrastructure, spanning Human Resources, Information Technology, Analytics & Business Intelligence, Finance & Accounting, and Legal. Reporting directly to the President, this leader will oversee GivePower's next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation over the coming year, bringing rigor and modern systems to how the organization operates.

This is a builder's role. The right person is equally comfortable leading a systems transformation and leading people, translating strategy into disciplined execution across five interconnected functions so the organization's back-office infrastructure scales alongside its mission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ERP & Systems Implementation: Leads the selection (if not yet finalized), configuration, and organization-wide rollout of a new ERP system across finance, HR, and operations within the next 12 months. Owns the project plan, vendor relationship, data migration, training, and change management needed for a smooth adoption.
  • Global HR Leadership: Oversees GivePower's Sr. Director of Global HR. Owns talent strategy, org design, total rewards, performance management, and employee relations across all nine countries where GivePower has employees and consultants by partnering closely with in-country leadership.
  • Financial Management & Accounting: Oversees the Controller and finance team, including budgeting, financial reporting, grant and donor fund accounting, and audit readiness. Ensures financial controls keep pace with organizational growth and the new ERP environment.
  • Legal & Compliance: Oversees legal affairs and regulatory compliance across GivePower's US and international entities (Kenya, Tanzania, Colombia and Haiti), managing the VP of Compliance to ensure contracts, employment practices, and governance filings minimize risk and stay current.
  • IT & Infrastructure: Sets strategy for GivePower's information technology with the Sr Director of Analytics & IT for systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and support for a globally distributed team, with the ERP rollout as the flagship initiative.
  • Analytics & Business Intelligence: Builds GivePower's data and reporting capability, ensuring leadership and the Board have reliable, timely visibility into impact, program, financial, and organizational performance.
  • Cross-Functional Operating Leadership: Partners with the President and the senior leadership team to align administrative strategy with GivePower's mission and multi-year plans. Represents administrative functions in Board and leadership discussions.
  • Budget & Resource Stewardship: Manages a consolidated administrative budget across all five functions, identifying efficiencies that help fund this role and future team growth.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Leads, develops, and holds accountable the functional leaders across HR, IT, Analytics, Finance, and Legal, building a high-performing, collaborative, reliable administrative team.
