U.S. Program Manager
Full-Time | Remote; U.S.-based | Salary Range $65,000–$75,000
About Technovation
Technovation is a global nonprofit that has spent 20 years building one of the largest technology entrepreneurship programs for young people, reaching 300,000+ participants across 100+ countries. Our project-based curriculum walks learners through real-world problem-solving using AI and technology, and 76% of our alumni go on to pursue STEM degrees.
The Technovation Challenge runs through a global network of program implementation partners including schools, youth-serving nonprofits, universities, and afterschool programs around the world. The U.S. is one of our fastest-growing regions, and the strength of that network depends on partners who feel supported, resourced, and set up to succeed.
About the Role
We’re looking for a U.S. Program Manager to join our Program Partner Leads team. This role is the connector between Technovation HQ and the U.S. program implementation partners running Technovation on the ground. You’ll build relationships with those partners directly, make sure they have what they need to succeed, and use what you learn from them to inform how Technovation supports partners at scale.
This is a role for someone who’s energized by both relationship management and operational detail. You are comfortable moving between an individual check-in with a partner, a data review that shapes a program decision, and coordination on a grant deliverable, all in the same week. You’ll work closely with the U.S. Partnerships Specialist, the fundraising and marketing teams, and the global Program Partner team, so cross-team collaboration is central to the role.
Responsibilities
- Partner Support. Support U.S.-based program implementation partners through consistent individual check-ins, customized resources, and responsive feedback loops. Use partner data to inform programmatic and partnership decisions. Build systems that can scale as we grow.
- Set U.S. Partner Strategy. In collaboration with the U.S. Partnerships Specialist, the global Program Partner Team, the Program Partner Director, and others involved in US-specific work, creatively lead and continually iterate on U.S. partnerships strategy.
- Grant Coordination. Ensure U.S. program-related grant deliverables are met, and coordinate with the fundraising team on proposals that support program expansion and success in the U.S.
- Storytelling & Marketing Collaboration. Work with the marketing team to surface and amplify stories of successful program implementation in the U.S., particularly in school settings.
- Partner Onboarding. Partner with the U.S. Partnerships Specialist to support the onboarding of prospective implementation partners, tracking new partners’ progress as they finalize plans and launch their Technovation Challenge program.
- Educator Training Coordination. Coordinate with the Program Partner Team to organize educator trainings with high-impact, high-priority school partners.
- Global Chapter Initiatives. Support the planning and execution of global Chapter initiatives, including onboarding, bi-weekly newsletters, monthly councils, resource development, mini-grant applications and disbursement, program policy adaptations, and end-of-season reporting.
- Global Competition Execution. Support global Technovation Challenge competition execution, including score monitoring, finalist selection, platform QA testing, and annual program and competition updates.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience managing relationships with schools, nonprofits, or other program partners in an education or youth-serving context.
- Comfortable using data to inform decisions, especially from tracking partner progress, spotting patterns in feedback, and adjusting support accordingly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to customize resources and communication for varying partner needs.
- Experience coordinating across teams to keep multiple workstreams moving at once.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage recurring operational work (newsletters, councils, reporting cycles) without things falling through the cracks.
- Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team and partner base across time zones.
A strong plus:
- Previous experience as an educator in STEM.
- Experience with grant-funded programs and familiarity with grant reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM/partner-tracking tools.
We Offer:
This is a full-time position. Our benefits include:
- 20 vacation days in addition to all federal holidays and sick time
- A paid organization-wide week-long shutdown at the end of the year
- 100% cost coverage of medical, dental, and vision costs for employees and a portion of the cost for partners and dependents
- Life-insurance coverage
- 401k program with an organization match after two years
- Option to participate in FSA and DCA pre-tax programs
- Tenure bonus plan
- Remote work with core work hours and flexible scheduling
We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity among its applicant pool as well as within our staff, Board, and partners. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
