Position Summary:
The Individual Giving Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of Technovation by cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors. This position focuses on establishing and growing an individual giving program, ensuring an exceptional donor experience, and meeting annual revenue goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about philanthropy, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, ensuring personalized engagement strategies.
- Develop tailored communication plans for donors to inspire giving and demonstrate impact.
- Organize and participate in donor meetings, events, and recognition opportunities to deepen relationships.
Fundraising Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute an annual individual giving strategy to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and cultivating high level donors ($25k+).
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Development to identify, research, and prioritize donor prospects and strategies.
- Manage all aspects of annual giving campaigns, online fundraising, and giving days.
- Partner with the marketing team to create compelling donor materials, appeals, and acknowledgment communications.
- Limited travel as needed to meet with Major Donors and engage high-level prospects.
Donor Data and Reporting
- Maintain accurate donor records and track donor interactions in Salesforce.
- Monitor fundraising progress and provide regular reports on individual giving metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for donor growth and retention.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Work closely with program staff to gather stories and impact data that resonate with donors.
- Support Technovation’s network in their fundraising efforts, providing training and resources as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a focus on individual giving.
- Demonstrated success in managing donor relationships and meeting fundraising goals.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and ability.
- Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and donor privacy.
- Employs an understanding of cultural differences to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 – $75,000 for this role
