Position Overview
TechBridge is seeking dynamic Technical Instructors to lead classrooms of 25-30 adult learners. Instructors will have the support of teaching assistants and student success coaches to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Classes are Monday through Thursday, 5:00-9:00 p.m with virtual and in-person options. Contract rates are commensurate with experience.

Project Management
Background:
- Education: MBA with a concentration in Project Management, PMP (Project Management Professional) or Scrum certified
- Experience: 10+ years in project management across various industries, 5 years in adult education and training
- Project Management Tools: Proficient in using tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, and Jira for planning, tracking, and managing projects.
- Methodologies: Experienced in various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Lean.
- Scheduling and Planning: Skilled in creating project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Risk Management: Knowledgeable about identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Proficient in project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Experienced in managing stakeholder expectations and communication.
Background:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Experience: 10+ years in IT support and cloud services, 5 years in adult education and training
- Cloud Platforms: Proficient in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Support Tools: Experienced with various support tools and ticketing systems like Zendesk, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
- Networking: Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Security: Knowledgeable about cloud security best practices and compliance.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to help learners troubleshoot and resolve common cloud support issues.
Background:
- Experience: 8+ years in data analytics and business intelligence, 4 years in adult education and training
- Data Analysis Tools: Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and R.
- Visualization Tools: Experienced with Tableau, Power BI, and Google Data Studio.
- Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications in data analysis.
- Data Cleaning: Skilled in data cleaning and preprocessing techniques to ensure data quality.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to help learners troubleshoot and resolve common data-related issues.
- Lead Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to adult learners, utilizing the latest technology and teaching methods.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the Education, Learning, and Development (ELD) team, teaching assistants, and student success coaches through weekly meetings.
- Student Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to set and achieve meaningful student goals. Utilize student data to drive instruction.
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that inspire students to connect learning to the real world workplace
- Learner Support: Monitor student progress, differentiate instruction as needed, and provide coaching to foster student success.
- Community Building: Create a safe and supportive learning environment, incorporating interactive activities and facilitating discussions.
- Office Hours: Maintain regular office hours to support students outside of class time.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow the “TechBridge Way” and align with TechBridge’s mission and procedures.
- Reporting: Report to the Manager of Training and Instruction to ensure alignment with educational goals.
