Overview

TechBridge seeks an energetic, experienced, and personable Fundraising and Development Coordinator to support a culture of philanthropy and strategic partnership at TechBridge. This part-time position reports to the Director of Fundraising and Development and is a key administrative member who will support the administrative functions of all fundraising, development, and sponsorship relationship building.

This team member will be detail-oriented, organized, efficient, handle multiple projects and deadlines, multi-task, have excellent time management skills, and thrive in a high-paced entrepreneurial environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to “tell stories" to communicate the values and impact of TechBridge.

The successful candidate will be proficient at and willing to learn technology for tracking projects and managing information for the purpose of prospecting, initiating, cultivating, maintaining, and keeping corporate sponsors, employer partners, and funders engaged. The coordinator will engage potential sponsors with the intent to raise funds for the TechBridge events. The coordinator will represent and manage the interests of sponsors with the marketing and events planning team. Additionally, the Coordinator will support sponsors during the events to meet sponsor interests.

This is a new position in the organization, and the successful candidate will be a key partner in shaping and implementing this role and is eager for professional growth. The coordinator will be a critical resource for the VP in all the projects, tasks, and initiatives involved with strategic partnerships.

Role and Responsibilities Development Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all areas of development work in collaboration with the Director, Fundraising and Development, including following initiatives with clear goal setting, tracking, and reporting to reach fundraising goals
    • Track campaigns and initiatives
    • Support sponsor engagement, including Sponsorship Agreement and invoicing
    • Generate reports to assist in research, goal setting, and analyzing trends.
  • Coordinate processes for acknowledgment and recognition of donors. Write, send, and track acknowledgment letters to donors and foundations.
  • Collaborate on the production of digital and print publications, including sponsor prospectus, impact and metric reporting, and post-campaign case studies to ensure consistent branding and messaging that encourage sponsor engagement
    • Collaborate on communication plan and collateral materials for strategic content for videos, testimonials, cases for support, campaigns, newsletters, etc



  • Maintain communication with all funding sources donors, including Legacy Donors, Executive Ambassadors, etc.
    • Help identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors with an emphasis on maximizing revenue for TechBridge
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to create customized solicitation strategies matching the objectives of the organization and interests of the donor/prospect
    • Assist in managing fundraising campaigns and TechBridge events
    • Build upon a branding strategy that supports fundraising and program efforts
    • Understand, communicate, and enforce TechBridge’s values, policies, guidelines, and practices
    • Manage all aspects of grant funding requests, research, writing, submissions, and data reporting
    • Update donor records in Salesforce following donor contacts
    • Utilize systems necessary to support a robust development program, including Salesforce, SharePoint, and Project Management tracking platforms (I.e., Trello)
    • Coordinate the recognition of opportunities for existing and potential donors, sponsors, and corporations.
    • Other duties, as identified and assigned

Executive Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all areas of Executive Ambassador engagement with the Director of Fundraising and Development, including following initiatives with clear goal setting, reporting, and tracking.
  • Coordinate the recognition of opportunities for existing and potential Executive Ambassadors, including meeting itineraries and follow up
  • Collaborate on the production of digital and print publications, including email copy, social posts, impact and metric reporting, and post-campaign case studies to ensure consistent branding and messaging that encourages Executive Ambassador engagement
  • Other duties, as identified and assigned


Auction Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all areas of auction development in collaboration with the Director of Fundraising and Development, including following initiatives with clear goal setting, reporting, and tracking to reach event fundraising goals
    • Support live auction, silent auction, and raffle campaign engagement, including item procurement, invoicing, and delivery
    • Utilize systems necessary to support robust auction and raffle efforts, including developing Classy, Classy Live, Give Smart and other platforms in use to engage donors
    • Lead auction and raffle day-of deliverables, including set up and breakdown of items on display at events with the assistance of volunteers
  • Other duties, as identified and assigned
Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or masters program
  • Experience working in a professional setting or office environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Extremely proactive with the ability to work independently and individually
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, and grant submittal process
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Passion for TechBridge’s mission and nonprofit work


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years equivalent work experience preferred
  • Salesforce and fundraising software experience a plus
  • Event and project management experience a plus
  • Strong strategic planning skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as a contributing member
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector a plus
  • Must possess exemplary written and verbal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact positively with members of the staff, donor community, volunteers, and others
  • Proficiency with basic computer and online skills, including Microsoft Suite including Excel
  • Tenacious attention to detail, even under tight deadlines
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems/situations demonstrating sound judgment and professional expertise to support the Fundraising and development team
  • Professional, diplomatic, and discreet with confidential matters


This is a part-time remote role (up to 20 hours per week)
