About the Role:We are seeking a Director of Fundraising & Development to serve as the lead strategist for TechBridge’s funding development. The Director will collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and development team to create a multi-year plan for increasing revenue in line with TechBridge strategic goals. A key team member, this role collaborates with multiple departments on annual and long-term strategic goals, including financial and capacity-building efforts. The Director will lead and manage the Development team alongside the CEO in executing all fundraising and development activities. The Director will focus on the stewardship of relationships and responsibilities regarding designing and implementing a comprehensive framework for developing new partnerships. Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with the CEO to develop and execute ongoing strategy for qualifying donors to ensure retention, growth of donor contributions as well as recapture from previous donors
  • Leads and implements programs to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors with an emphasis on maximizing revenue for TechBridge
  • Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and expands the number of individual annual, mid-level, and planned giving prospects and donors
  • Works collaboratively with other departments to create customized solicitation strategies matching the objectives of the organization and interests of the donor/prospect
  • Provides analysis and reporting on the overall performance of fundraising against goals and strategic plan
  • Builds upon a branding strategy that supports all fundraising and program efforts
  • Understands, communicates, and enforces TechBridge’s values, policies, guidelines, and practices
  • Maintains and updates organizational brand standards and communicates and enforces execution of the brand
  • Manage all aspects of grant funding requests, research, submissions, and reporting
  • Partners with public relations efforts to ensure brand representation and adherence across in-house advertising, graphic design, social media, direct mail, and web site
  • Implements programs/activities to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors at the, with an emphasis on maximizing revenue for TechBridge
  • Works with community Board members and other leadership volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward appropriate donors
  • Identifies potential planned giving prospects among assigned donors and partners with CEO to solicit those prospects
  • Updates donor records in Salesforce following donor contacts
  • Builds upon a branding strategy that supports all fundraising and program efforts
  • Understands, communicates, and enforces TechBridge’s values, policies, guidelines, and practices
  • Partners with Marketing team to maintain and update organizational brand standards and communicates and enforces execution of the brand
  • Partners with public relations efforts to ensure brand representation and adherence across in-house advertising, graphic design, social media, direct mail, and web site
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, fundraising, development, nonprofit management, economic development, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in fund development, foundation management, grant administration and the execution of events, communications, and other critical donor engagement strategies, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Passion for nonprofit work and TechBridge’s mission
  • Advanced interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence effortlessly
  • Experience managing staff and a departmental budget
  • Organization skills for a fast-paced work environment
  • Microsoft Office knowledge including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Salesforce knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in related field
  • Extremely familiar with Atlanta
  • National partnerships and donor base
