Responsibilities

  • Project staffing: Primary responsibility is to ensure new projects are staffed within one week with highly qualified volunteers, sourcing both from TFC’s database of over 17,000 registered volunteers, and new inbounds.
  • Volunteer communications: Communicate with volunteers via email about volunteer opportunities, volunteers’ availability and skills, project needs, etc.
  • Database management: Ensure volunteer records are accurate and all internal tools properly document volunteer capabilities and project statuses.
  • Operational enhancements: Find areas of opportunity for TFC to improve how we operate to accelerate staffing, particularly during peak election cycle needs.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in a recruiting-focused role, e.g., Recruiter, SDR, Field Organizer.
  • 2-3 years experience working in or around digital marketing so that you are familiar with the types of skills required, particularly building websites, running email campaigns, and/or paid advertising
  • Volunteer relations, client / candidate relations, customer support, or community-building experience is a plus
  • Outstanding multi-tasker with exceptional organizational and project management skills and obsessive attention to detail
  • Highly responsive with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal supervision
  • Goal-oriented with a high degree of ownership over the staffing process and KPIs, including identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent collaborator who helps to enable others and knows who to ask for what, how, and when
  • Comfort learning new software tools, with a preference for past experience with CRM software / Hubspot
  • Passionate about putting your talent to work on high-impact, high-ROI projects that drive electoral outcomes and shape our daily lives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
