Responsibilities

  • Content Calendar Management: Develop and execute a strategic content calendar that aligns with organizational goals across all digital channels.
  • Content Creation: Produce compelling content for social media posts and email campaigns, including newsletters, donor updates, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Social Media Engagement: Manage and optimize social media profiles and presence, creating posts that increase engagement and support campaign goals.
  • Email Marketing: Design and implement effective email marketing strategies to nurture leads, engage subscribers, and drive campaign objectives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track campaign performance, gain insights, and optimize strategies for improved outcomes.
  • Marketing Tools Proficiency: Skillfully use marketing tools such as HubSpot for campaign management, analytics, and automation.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in social media and email marketing, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and managing successful campaigns.
  • Strong content creation skills, with an ability to engage and grow an audience across various digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot) and a strong understanding of analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • A passionate interest in the intersection of technology and politics, with a habit of following relevant news and social media accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innate curiosity - you like to figure things out on your own and are resourceful in doing so
  • Passion for the cause - you not only want to make an impact on electoral outcomes, but also agree we need tech and digital to do it.

This is a part-time role to start - 10-15 hrs/week and fully remote.
