TasselTurn is a nonprofit organization changing the lives of homeless and foster-involved youth by matching youth with virtual education coaches. Coaches are volunteer graduate students and young professionals who share a similar experience. Coaches stick with the youth to ensure they graduate high school connected to college and careers. Research shows that youth in foster care change schools three times a year on average, each change places them further behind their non-foster peers, and 43 percent drop out.
