About Tarjimly: Tarjimly is a 501c3 nonprofit established in 2017 with a mission to eliminate language barriers for refugees, immigrants, and humanitarians. We accomplish this through our Tarjimly mobile app, connecting individuals with a vast network of 58,000+ volunteer translators for on-demand language support, in addition to providing a series of professional interpretation and translation services. Our team is global, passionate, and operates entirely remotely, dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of those we serve.
Job Description: As the Outreach Associate, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Tarjimly's impact. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture relationships with non-governmental organizations, volunter groups, schools, hospitals, offering them customized solutions from Tarjimly's suite of services. This outcome will mainly be measured by an increase in # of active users on the Tarjimly app as well as an increase in the # of NGOs using Tarjimly's professional services. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by NGOs in the realm of language barriers.

Responsibilities:
NGO Engagement: Actively reach out to and engage with NGOs to promote awareness of Tarjimly's services.
Tailored Consultations: Meet with NGOs to understand their specific needs and recommend customized solutions from Tarjimly's offerings.
Onboarding Workshops: Conduct onboarding workshops for NGO teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize Tarjimly's services effectively.
Follow-ups
Professional Services Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for NGOs interested in Tarjimly's professional services.
Required:
Aptitude for communications, and connecting with a diverse range of actors - including senior and middle management
Experience in outreach, sales, or partnership roles, preferably in a non-profit or NGO setting.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
Ability to understand organizations’ pain points, document and synthesize user needs, and communicate that clearly to the team
Ability to conduct presentations and workshops effectively.
Aligned with Tarjimly’s mission and passionate about helping displaced persons globally
Comfortable with digital tools for remote work and project management.
Desired
Fluency in a second language (especially Spanish, Arabic &/or French)

Employment Details:
Full-time remote position.
Flexible hours with responsiveness to messages and emails during EST working hours, in addition to availability to conduct online meetings during EST working hours
Mandatory Team Meetings: Weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11am EST.
Salary range:
Benefits include 21 days PTO/year.
