About This OrganizationAmazing Love Development Organization (ALDO )is a grassroot Canadian charitable organization with a mission is to provide access to school and hands-on skills training to children who would otherwise go without due to harsh living conditions. Through Amazing Love School, ALDO provides access to education and hands-on skills training to 400+ students, 20 teachers and support staff and a community of 3,500 people.ALDO’s target population includes orphans, children used as sources of labor, children who suffer abuse and neglect, children living with disabilities, children of parents with disabilities, HIV/AIDS infected and affected children and children who face many risks due to parental separation, domestic violence, alcoholism, and divorce. Most children live off one meal a day provided at the school. ALDO is working to remove the barriers to education by providing a safe learning environment that protects students from exploitation and organized crime. ALDO Is Currently Focused On Five Critical Areas

• Strengthening early childhood education.
• Obtaining literacy and digital reading tools.
• Expanding our nutritional feeding program.
• Boosting solar power capacity for the school.
• Building two additional dormitories (girls and boys).
• Completing the skills workshop.
• Obtaining emergency transport

Our primary ongoing costs include paying our teachers’ salaries, which are on average $1,800 per year per teacher. Meals and school supplies average out to $35 per student.Design - Graphic Design: Marketing Collateral The Design Work IncludesALDO would like a volunteer to develop professionally designed graphics and marketing collateral to be used digitally and in print. We want to be effective and consistent in communicating our message with clarity.

• Providing a list of standardized collateral design templates for multiple purposes that ALDO can use to boost conversion
• Rebrand our logo and messaging on our website
• Designing templates for brochures, flyers, and annual reports
• Specific website graphics
• Design matching letterheads and business cards.

We have dedicated team members for the project who will provide the necessary info. Once the project is done, we will use these items in our everyday work: on our current website platform, branding collaterals, and for information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences.ALDO is a small-budget charity managed by volunteers who are passionate about the lives of disadvantaged children through quality education that is looking to build capacity. ALDO does not have the bandwidth to create ALDO-focused marketing collateral that converts leads into supporters and funders. These collaterals will help during our fundraisers and other interactions.We need a range of marketing collateral with a consistent design style to position ALDO to meet specific marketing communications and reporting requirements and create brand awareness. Marketing collateral helps everyone within an organization tell the same great story through a lens that the average layperson can understand. A Volunteer will help us to make ALDO’s collateral stand out and make the writing and design align with ALDO’s brand voice to build trust and credibility.Securing additional funding is necessary to meet the urgent needs. Currently, ALDO would like to increase its capacity to deliver services by recruiting volunteers to strengthen ALDO’s ability to fulfill its mission now and in the future. Besides making a strong impact, ALDO requires consistent compelling messaging to articulate its work and successes to potential and existing supporters and other stakeholders.
