During this upcoming project, led by Banyan Tree Clinic’s Community Liaison, Hygiene Ambassadors will be responsible for creating handcrafted soaps for sale and distribution as an employee of Eco-Soap Bank in collaboration with Banyan Tree Clinics. This requires a 3–4-day training where ambassadors will travel to Krong Siem Reap.The curriculum consists of extensive instruction about the significance of proper hygiene, the soapmaking process, and the use of equipment. In addition to program development, program management and assistance in developing a route for soap collection. Once supplied with the process knowledge, ambassadors will return to their communities and sell the soap for a comparable market price with profit for the soap maker. This is a great occupational opportunity that also helps to provide rural communities with access to soap which remains a critical factor in the spread of disease.Please help us to complete our outreach to the Cambodian community that will empower mothers to create job opportunities by getting trained in soap making and for a community liaison to facilitate their training!We plan to distribute the job postings to Cambodian communities so that we can sponsor and implement the program.
