About This OrganizationThe Museum of Political Corruption, a nonpartisan, nonprofit institution, is committed to educating and empowering the public by providing a better understanding of political corruption and encouraging solutions that promote ethics reform and honest governance.Grant writing/development - Grant Research and WritingWe are seeking a volunteer to work as part of a team to identify and apply for appropriate grants for The Museum of Political Corruption. We are seeking funding opportunities for an Executive Director position and several current programming initiativesThe Museum of Political Corruption s a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization committed to creating better government by educating and empowering the public. Since it was chartered in 2015, The Museum of Political Corruption has received national and international recognition, including from NPR, New Yorker Magazine, USA Today, and the Associated Press.Through our many initiatives, we've had great success in engaging with the public, elected officials, and government experts as we seek to make government more ethical. Up until now, we have done this with an all-volunteer board. But we have now outgrown that model, and in order to fully realize our potential, we need to have staff who can work full-time. An Executive Director who can guide the organization's day-to-day operation and its future planning is the logical and powerful next step to our success. Your interest in helping us succeed in our mission to make government better through public education is greatly appreciated! We are a dynamic and creative group that comes from diverse backgrounds, and hope you will join us!The Board of Trustees fully supports this initiative, and you will have their assistance. We will follow up with funders and continue grant applications that are in process as we begin to advertise for the staff position. It is our hope that the starting date for the museum's new Executive Director would be January 1, 2024.This project can be done remotely.
