TalkingPoints is at a critical inflection point in the organization’s growth, in creating a unique category for technology-based family engagement with generative AI playing a big role in their R&D. The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Revenue Officer will lead marketing, sales and customer success and will work closely with all functional areas, to ensure alignment in activities to achieve growth objectives.
You Will:
- Develop, implement, and drive a cohesive revenue strategy and build an organization that integrates sales, marketing, and customer success to drive growth
- Monitor and measure the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement, renewal, expansion, and pricing, across partner segments, to create sustainable growth
- Utilize data analytics to inform strategy, improve operational efficiency, and make informed decisions regarding market opportunities and establish best practices around tools and process across all sales teams
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing talent within revenue-generating departments, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement
- Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating goals, resources, and comp plans accordingly
Who You Are:
- You currently work or have worked in a revenue leadership role within a K-12 SaaS business. You are not satisfied with reusing an old playbook, but instead, are committed to bringing innovation and passion to revenue growth strategies for a company that is blazing a new trail in EdTech.
- You are an experienced and ambitious Go-to-Market and revenue/sales growth leader with a proven track record of delivering growth for an 8+ figure ARR within a B2B SaaS/Enterprise Software environment
- You have run and grown revenue/sales teams in an organization (including sales, partner renewals, expansions) closely coordinating between various go-to-market teams, while also rolling up your sleeves to get things done
- You are data-driven with a proven capability to regularly measure and analyze productivity and effectiveness leading to actionable insights
- You strive for organizational excellence, demonstrating by doing and thereafter ensuring the highest standards of execution across your teams
- You have a passion for making a significant impact on young learners and are a voracious learner yourself
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with the U.S.-based K-12 education systems
- Experience in or empathy with communities we serve (e.g., underserved populations, education, immigration, bilingual and/or multicultural environments)
The base range for this role is $200,000-$250,000. The actual base compensation may vary depending on factors such as experience, location, market conditions, education/training, and skill level, and does not include bonuses, other forms of compensation, or benefits.
