Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.
We're seeking a Senior Ecosystem Growth Manager to lead programs, initiatives, and partnerships that drive high-quality project inflow into the Stellar ecosystem through the Stellar Community Fund (SCF). This role is ideal for someone who loves to help early-stage teams grow and thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking, program execution, and ecosystem development.
In this role, you will:
- Lead Inflow Strategy for SCF: Design and execute programs, engagements, and experiments that attract high-quality teams and builders into the SCF pipeline—ensuring alignment with ecosystem priorities.
- Own SCF Kickstart: Act as point of contact for our global startup bootcamp, managing its strategy, execution (with agency and internal partners), and ongoing improvement.
- Drive Builder Activations: Launch and support ecosystem engagements—such as accelerator partnerships, builder residencies, technical workshops, and regional initiatives—that source and empower top-tier applicants.
- Foster Strategic Collaborations: Build relationships with accelerators, founder networks, VCs, scouts, and ecosystem partners to co-design inflow-focused programs and identify promising teams.
- Optimize for Quality: Collaborate with the SCF team to refine criteria, processes, and tooling to prioritize projects with strong validation, product-market fit, and long-term potential.
- Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with DevRel, BD, Marketing, and other teams across SDF to align inflow efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Track and Report Impact: Define KPIs, analyze results, and report on growth initiatives—using insights to iterate, improve, or scale successful models.
You have:
- Program Strategy + Execution Experience: Proven track record designing and running founder-facing programs (e.g., accelerators, residencies) in Web3 or technical ecosystems.
- Ecosystem Instincts: A deep understanding of what makes ecosystems thrive—paired with the ability to spot high-potential teams and structure environments that support success.
- Collaboration Superpowers: Skilled at cross-functional coordination and external partnerships—you thrive on working with others to make programs better.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple complex initiatives and move them forward with clarity and momentum.
- Data-Driven Mindset: You know what to measure, how to analyze it, and how to use it to drive smarter decisions.
- Excellent Communication: You're confident representing SCF externally and collaborating with partners, founders, and internal stakeholders.
Bonus points if:
- You have a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems
- You have a strong network of accelerator, VC, and ecosystem support partners in Web3
