Solve Employment is sourcing a FCAW 3G Welder for a shipyard client in South Korea. You’ll join a welding team supporting ship construction and assembly to international quality standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll join the welding team supporting production processes in a shipyard environment.

FCAW Welding: Carry out welding work using the FCAW 3G method according to set quality standards.

Weld Inspection: Check weld results to ensure strength and neatness of joints.

Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety procedures within the shipyard area.

Certification & Training: Participate in required training and certification testing.

What We Expect

This role requires someone who is highly skilled, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced shipyard environment. You’ll be expected to follow international welding standards while working with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience performing FCAW welding, preferably within shipbuilding, heavy manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrates strong proficiency in the FCAW 3G welding process, with the ability to produce clean, accurate, and structurally sound welds that meet quality standards.
• Certification: Willing to obtain the required certifications, including ISO/IEC 9606 and Korea ISO/IEC 17024, prior to deployment.
• Physical Fitness: Physically and mentally fit to perform welding duties safely in a demanding industrial environment.
• Screening Requirements: Holds a clean criminal record and is able to successfully complete the required skills assessment and employer interview.
• Training Commitment: Willing to participate in mandatory ISO training and Korean language preparation before departure.
• Eligibility: This position is open to male candidates aged 20–45 years.
