The Product Associate supports the development, improvement, and delivery of Solve Education!’s digital learning products. This role works closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to translate user needs into actionable insights, coordinate product development activities, and ensure smooth execution across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This position is designed for individuals who want to grow their career in product management while contributing to meaningful educational impact.

Purpose of the Role

  • Support the design, development, and optimization of Solve Education!’s products.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, structured execution, and timely delivery of product tasks.
  • Strengthen decision-making processes through user insights, data, and cross-team coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product Research & Insights

  • Assist in gathering and analysing user feedback, market trends, and competitor information.
  • Conduct desk research to support product discovery and feature prioritisation.
  • Help prepare user research materials (surveys, interview guides, usability tests).
  • Summarise findings into clear reports for the Product Manager and relevant teams.

Product Development Support

  • Translate product requirements into clear documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and task descriptions.
  • Manage and update product artefacts (roadmaps, backlogs, feature trackers, documentation).
  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned features.
  • Participate in product testing, QA, and validation activities to ensure product quality.

Data & Impact Monitoring

  • Support the collection and interpretation of product performance data.
  • Generate routine product reports and highlight insights or potential issues.
  • Track metrics related to user engagement, feature adoption, and impact outcomes.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Prepare materials for internal briefings, sprint meetings, demos, and partner updates.
  • Ensure alignment between product, programs, engineering, and external partners.
  • Assist in documenting decisions, meeting notes, risks, and follow-up actions.

Process & Operational Support

  • Support the implementation of agile product management practices.
  • Maintain organisational standards for documentation, workflow, and communication.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Product Manager
  • Works closely with: Engineering, Design, Program Implementation, Data teams
  • May support: External partners or users as needed in product testing or feedback cycles

Expected Outputs

  • Clear, accurate, and updated product documentation.
  • User research summaries and product insight reports.
  • Timely support in QA, testing, and release coordination.
  • Organized trackers and dashboards to monitor product progress.
  • Structured follow-up on tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
  • Experience supporting digital products, research projects, or technology-driven initiatives.
  • Exposure to agile or project management workflows.
  • Internship or entry-level experience in tech, edtech, or data-driven environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Basic understanding of product management principles and UX concepts.
  • Ability to prepare clear documentation and structured reports.
  • Familiar with productivity and project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab, Notion, Trello).
  • Comfortable working with data (Excel, Google Sheets, or analytics dashboards).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on tasks.
