As a People and Operations Manager, you’ll be expected to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, managing people processes, organizational operations, and cross-team coordination with precision and accountability. Key Responsibilities

People & Culture

  • Lead HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Design and implement policies and processes that support a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles and career development programs.

Organisational Development & Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to align people and operations strategies with organisational goals.
  • Use data-driven insights and dashboards to guide decision-making.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and well-being.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support organisational growth and digital transformation.

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Streamline processes through automation and adoption of advanced technologies.
  • Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and compliance with efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth execution of company-wide events, training, and team activities.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and seamless program delivery.
  • Engage with external partners, service providers, and consultants to support people and operations initiatives.
  • Represent Solve Education! in external collaborations, HR/tech events, and industry engagements.

What We’re Looking For
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Work Experience (at least one of the following):

  • Experience leading HR or operations in a growing, technology-driven organisation.
  • Track record of implementing AI, HRIS, or automation tools in people/operations management.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor law compliance, and organisational development.
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms, workflow automation tools, and data/AI analytics dashboards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Other Requirements

  • Based in Bandung or willing to relocate to Bandung.
  • Comfortable working across diverse teams and cultural contexts.

Additional (Bonus)

  • Familiarity with cutting-edge AI and workplace technologies.
  • Experience scaling operations in mission-driven or international NGOs.
  • Exposure to change management and digital transformation initiatives.
