Root IO Radio is a technology platform for low-cost, hyperlocal community radio stations that require minimal investment and maintenance. The stations facilitate economic opportunities, expression, and information sharing within communities. Amplified by a cloud-based Radio as a Service (RaaS), these stations enable live shows, community engagement, and emergency services support. With four stations currently operating in Northern Uganda and plans to launch 20 more, Root IO is positioned to empower rural communities through innovative radio solutions.
