*Remote position with mission-driven cancer nonprofit startup*

Company overview: Reboot Rx is a nonprofit startup dedicated to advancing affordable cancer treatments by repurposing FDA-approved generic drugs (rebootrx.org). Leveraging AI-powered data analytics and strategic partnerships, we bridge the gap between discovery and clinical practice to improve patient outcomes. The Reboot Rx team and advisors are highly experienced industry leaders in cancer, drug development, AI, business, nonprofits, and policy. As a nonprofit funded by philanthropy, we can pursue the drugs with the greatest potential impact for patients, without needing a financial return, and we can access partners and data that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. Many team members have been personally affected by cancer, which motivates the work we do each day. We are a small organization with big ambitions, and we have achieved a lot in a short time thanks to collaborations with prominent stakeholders. Our organization values innovation, impact, and integrity. We are a positive and supportive team committed to helping all staff develop and grow.

Position description: The VP of Commercialization/Patient Impact will be a key leader reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for raising awareness of repurposed generic drugs to impact the lives of patients with cancer. The VP of Commercialization/Patient Impact will drive our foundational efforts to deliver trustworthy, evidence-based, and actionable insights on repurposed generic drugs to support informed clinical decision-making. The VP of Commercialization/Patient Impact will work with external stakeholder groups and collaborators to build awareness for repurposed drugs through digital channels, KOL conversations, conferences, guidelines/pathways inclusion, outreach and education with medical organizations and patient advocacy groups, and general PR. Internally, the individual will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other members of the highly collaborative Reboot Rx team. This role will not have any direct reports in the near term. The individual must thrive in a small and growing, mission-driven nonprofit startup and will be expected to be a flexible and hands-on contributor. This role includes significant opportunities to shape the trajectory of the organization.
