Who You Are

The Senior Director, Corporate Relations is responsible for defining the strategy and shaping cause marketing and fundraising campaigns; identifying, securing, and managing campaign partnerships for Easterseals to generate revenue and increase brand visibility through mutually beneficial partnerships with national and regional corporations.

What You'll Do

Strategic planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cause marketing strategy that supports Easterseals’ mission and revenue goals by creating compelling, missioncentric partnerships with major brands.


Prospecting and business development:

  • Research, identify, and qualify likeminded corporate partners to cultivate collaborative national and regional initiatives and engagement with Easterseals.


Relationship management:

  • Serve as lead point of contact for all corporate cause marketing campaign partners responsible for building , developing sustainable relationships through consistent cultivation. excellent relationship-building and communication.
    • Negotiation and sales: Lead the negotiation process to secure new and renewing sponsorships and cause marketing agreements, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes.
    • Campaign execution and oversight: Work closely with Brand/Marketing, Network Advancement and Direct Response Fundraising teams to drive creative development of campaigns, foster integration, ensure strategic alignment, oversee cause marketing budget and internal/external coordination of deliverables and activation with partners.
    • Reporting and analysis: research and analyze data to evaluate and qualify opportunities, track campaign performance to refine and modify strategy as needed; apply key insights and leverage data to generate new leads and consistently establish and grow relationships.
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with National brand/marketing, communications, direct response fundraising, and finance teams to ensure campaigns comply with all guidelines; collaborate with Easterseals Network of Affiliates to foster engagement and regional support of corporate partnerships and to advance best practices in campaign participation at the local level.
    • Market research: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, and sponsorship.

What You Bring

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, or business.
• Proven results in nonprofit cause marketing campaign strategy and execution with 10+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, corporate development, and/or fundraising.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain trust with a diverse range of stakeholders, from corporate executives to internal teams.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills including proposal development and public speaking.
• Demonstrates a creative, strategic mindset
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects, budgets, multiple partners, and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Driven, self-starter with strong work ethic, great enthusiasm and initiative.
• Proven engagement with influencers through LinkedIn; experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Rocket Reach, Salesforce or CRM platform.
• Comprehensive understanding of Easterseals mission and ability to demonstrate commitment to it and ability to share and sell it with passion,
