Who You Are
HR Dejavoo is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR department with administrative, onboarding, compliance, and employee support functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a growing workforce.
We are looking for a motivated HR professional who enjoys supporting employees and helping maintain efficient HR processes within a growing technology company. The HR Assistant will work closely with HR leadership to maintain employee records, coordinate recruitment activities, assist with benefits administration, and ensure compliance with New York employment regulations.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with new hire onboarding and employee offboarding, including preparing onboarding materials and maintaining personnel files.
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate scheduling, and recruitment communications.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Track required employment documentation including I-9 verification, W-4 forms, and other compliance paperwork.
- Assist with HR reporting, employment verifications, and internal HR communications.
- Support company initiatives such as employee engagement programs, training coordination, and performance review processes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee data and HR matters.
What You Bring
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related support role.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of New York employment law and HR compliance requirements is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
What We Offer
The salary range for this position is $50,000- $65,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
