POSITION SUMMARY

Plastic Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a global leader in waste reduction and environmental sustainability, Plastic Bank is dedicated to creating positive impact through innovative solutions. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing reports, forecasts and models to support multiyear planning and forecasting by analyzing financial data and sales contracts and communicating insights which inform and support wider business decisions
  • Analyze both current and past financial information and data to forecast future performance including forecasting future revenues, gross profit and costs, as well as modeling and budgeting
  • Track KPIs to evaluate financial performance by comparing/analyzing both current and past results with plans and forecasts
  • Perform variance analysis, identify trends and or make recommendations for improvement where necessary

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on Private Equity, investment banking, startup, or tech industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, with very strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
  • IT Skills: Expertise in IT tools, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey financial insights to diverse audiences.
  • Confidence and Enthusiasm: Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations, coupled with enthusiasm for the mission and goals of Plastic Bank.
