WHAT YOU WILL DO

Proposal & Budget Development

• Write proposals and create pitches: In line with donor interests, develop compelling written and visual materials to describe Noora Health’s work. This can take the form of written proposals, short one pagers, web text, or pitch slides. Coordinate internally with technical and geographic leaders for inputs into materials and for reviews before submission.
• Develop and edit budgets: Collaborate with development and finance team members on the development of grant budgets and financial grant reports. Review budgets to make sure they align with narrative stories in proposals.
• Track opportunities: Scan externally for new opportunities for Noora Health to submit proposals or pitches, including formal solicitations and external presentation opportunities.

Prospecting & Relationship Management

• Funder Research: Develop landscapes of potential new funders and conduct research on specific funders of interest to help Noora Health better understand their priorities and funding modalities. Contribute to and collate inputs for specific funder strategies.
• Meeting Preparation: Prepare for external meetings with funders and connectors by creating appropriate slides or other materials and bringing together relevant funder research.
• Site Visit Planning & Execution: Support the design and coordination of donor visits to our programs, including navigating logistics and setting the agenda for the visit.
• Conferences & External Representation: Support in preparation for conferences and other opportunities to showcase our work and leadership by researching attendees and identifying people to reach out to for meetings, as well as coordinating follow up and recording in our CRM.

Grants Management

• Donor Reporting: Coordinate the development of high-quality narrative and financial reporting for existing donors, respond to donor requests for information and inputs
• Grant Management: Track upcoming deadlines and significant dates, supporting timely submission of all proposals, reports, registrations, and other materials to partners.

Development Systems

• Salesforce: Input and manage development and partnerships data in Noora Health’s Salesforce Contact Resource Management (CRM) database, ensuring the system accurately reflects and actively supports our team’s donor stewardship efforts and progress against fundraising goals.
• Google Drive: Document and save key funder documents in line with team standards
• Systems & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for team process improvement, coordinating with other team members to creatively solve problems and implement solutions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• 3-5 years of experience with fundraising and system management, contact resource management, and system improvements.
• Demonstrable propensity for structured and logical thinking.
• Excellent persuasive writing ability
• Superb attention to detail, prioritization and organization skills
• An energetic self-starter
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively across departments, cultures, languages, and time zones.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt in a rapidly-growing team and organization.
• Commitment to social justice and global health equity.
• English language fluency.
• Familiarity with organizational software such as: Salesforce (CRM) and Google Drive
