Since its founding in California in 2004, NEX now operates programs or advisory services in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, the UAE, Uganda, the USA (California and New York), and Vietnam.

New Energy Nexus Thailand aims to become a self-sustaining local organization supporting entrepreneurs in clean energy innovation and decarbonization technology through business consultation, investment readiness, accelerator programs, and startup pipeline development. We aspire to be a key catalyst for Thailand’s carbon neutrality.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead program strategy and execution across our key initiatives in Thailand. This role will oversee a small team and ensure high-quality program design, delivery, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of programs across NEX Thailand’s key focus areas
  • Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality
  • Provide hands-on support and problem-solving to ensure smooth day-to-day execution

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Manage and mentor a team of 3 program staffs
  • Provide close guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Build a strong execution culture with clear accountability and ownership

Performance & Budget Management

  • Track program KPIs, milestones, and progress on a regular basis
  • Manage program budgets at the objective level and ensure efficient resource use
  • Maintain clear reporting and visibility on program performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of relevant work experience in program management, startups, sustainability, or related fields
  • Strong experience in project/program management and execution
  • Experience managing or mentoring a small team
  • Ability to track performance, KPIs, and manage budgets
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in both Thai and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in climate, energy, startups, or innovation ecosystem
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders (corporates, government, or partners)
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
