About New Energy Nexus China
New Energy Nexus China provides business-matchmaking and consulting services for large corporations and start-ups to advance energy transition and carbon-neutrality goals. Since 2016, NEX China has supported the growth of 400+ innovative companies through programs such as the EXCEL Accelerator and the LG Energy Solution Battery Challenge.
Position Overview
This is a role that truly allows you to “turn strategy into reality.” You will be on the front lines of energy transition and climate technology, engaging directly with international partners, senior corporate executives, and innovation teams, transforming ideas into projects and projects into impact.
We are looking for someone who can both think and execute, negotiate partnerships and lead teams to deliver results. This position offers a bigger stage, a faster pace, and a steeper growth curve.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Proactively expand domestic and international cooperation networks, identify and advance convertible strategic cooperation opportunities (government, foundations, international organizations, multinational corporations, research institutions, industry partners, etc.).
- Continuously track and screen potential cooperation leads, establish a stable and rhythmic pipeline, and drive cooperation from communication to contract signing through the full process.
- Optimize and iterate the company’s value proposition, consulting products, and solutions to enhance market attractiveness and closing efficiency.
- Lead the creation of pitch materials (pitch deck, concept notes, proposals, etc.) to improve presentation quality and cooperation success rate.
Program Management
- Fully manage key projects: break down objectives, advance progress, control delivery quality, and present outcomes.
- Establish efficient communication mechanisms to ensure clear information transparency and aligned expectations among partners.
- Coordinate team resources to resolve bottlenecks during execution (communication, processes, demand management, etc.).
- Ensure projects are not merely “completed,” but evolve into long-term cooperation, sustained value, or replicable project models.
Strategy Implementation & International Cooperation
- Analyze trends in energy transition, climate technology, and international cooperation, and produce insights directly usable for decision-making and business development.
- Based on market demand and organizational positioning, propose actionable new business directions, cooperation mechanisms, and market-entry strategies.
- Build cross-regional and cross-departmental collaboration networks, establish stable and sustained cooperative relationships with Chinese and foreign partners, and form long-term institutional cooperation (MoU, joint projects, joint events, etc.).
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in consulting, innovation strategy, international cooperation, climate technology, or related industries
- Able to decompose complex problems, turn strategy into action, and convert cooperation into results
- Extensive cross-cultural communication experience, adaptable to multi-party collaboration and high-speed change scenarios
- Highly self-driven, willing to take responsibility, enjoys challenges, and capable of independently advancing high-quality deliverables
- Excellent English and Chinese expression and writing skills, able to independently produce high-quality proposals and communication materials.
