We are New Energy Nexus! Committed to the creation and support of ecosystems in energy and related fields, by linking governments, industries, technology companies, investment institutions, and international partners to build an organic and sustainable industrial development system.

The Climate Fintech program aims to leverage digital financial technologies to improve innovation in traditional climate finance, so that more capital can be mobilized into decarbonization.

How we operate:

  • Launch – Inspire new business ideas and form new startup teams.
  • Accelerate - Train startup teams and connect them to the right partners locally and globally.
  • Engage - Bring together the ecosystems to remove barriers and scale internationally.
  • Scale - Help startups test, pilot and scale their technologies, products, and services in multiple markets.
  • Fund - Provide innovative early-stage funding for promising startups from global funders.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist program director with program planning and implementation.
  2. Research on climate finance/fintech/investment related topics and due diligence, analysis, and documentation on related companies.
  3. Communicate with startups, financial institutions, and partners to support climate fintech startups with business expansion, fundraising and capacity building
  4. Plan and host events to build climate fintech ecosystem.
  5. Assist program director with funding application and database maintenance
  6. Participate in strategy discussion and implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree and above, with 2 years of work experiences in finance, fintech, sustainable investment or climate related areas. For outstanding graduate, no work experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong learning, communicating and analytical skills.
  • Top-quality writing and presenting skills with an ability to synthesize information in a clear, concise, and aesthetic manner.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, programming skill is preferred.
  • Excellent execution skills with strong sense of deadline.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • No requirement on major, preferably related to energy, finance & economics, and information technologies.

Salary: Negotiable. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews on a rolling basis.
