Job Description:
We’re looking for a motivated and collaborative Business Systems Administrator to play a key role in supporting our data-driven decision making environment. This position focuses on Oracle Analytics Publisher report development and support, end-user training, data governance initiatives, and backup support for the system administrator.
You’ll help bridge the gap between business needs and technology by improving processes, enhancing data access, and empowering staff to use analytics tools effectively. If you’re passionate about optimizing systems, translating data into insights, and helping others grow their analytical skills, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Support and enhance Oracle Analytics Publisher reports—maintain data assets like views and data models, support existing reports, develop new reports, and troubleshooting issues.
- Provide user support and training on reporting tools and business systems to increase end-user confidence and data self-sufficiency.
- Deliver data literacy training to improve staff understanding of metrics, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining system integrity and serve as backup to the system administrator, ensuring business continuity and smooth operation of key systems.
- Keep support documentation updated as processes change
- Analyze and evaluate complex department-wide processes to identify opportunities for data asset improvement, automation, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and design new workflows or reporting solutions.
- Monitor system performance, perform quality control checks, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of data and reports.
- Support project planning and management activities—helping coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables for systems related initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in Oracle Analytics Publisher or similar reporting platforms.
- Understanding data management, quality assurance, and business process improvement principles.
- Experience providing end-user support and training in technology or data environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver results independently.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving system and process issues through data-informed approaches.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:
A five (5) year combination of education, training, and/or professional experience in project management, systems analysis, business analysis, program specialty, or related field.
