Role Description The Admission Counselor will work full time on-site in the Pune Division, guiding prospective learners through the admissions process for Mentor Me’s finance programs. The role involves responding to inquiries, explaining course offerings and career outcomes, and supporting candidates in selecting the right programs based on their goals and background. The counselor will conduct phone calls, video interactions, and in-person meetings, maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions in the admissions system. Daily tasks include follow-up communication, coordinating with training and operations teams, and ensuring a positive, transparent, and supportive experience for all applicants from first contact through enrollment. The counselor will also contribute to outreach initiatives, events, and partnerships that promote Mentor Me’s programs and help grow the learner community.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide timely, empathetic, and solution-focused support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments ethically, using consultative and needs-based approaches.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills or experience in academic counseling, training, or edtech environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field are preferred.
- Ability to work with CRM or admissions management tools, manage multiple leads, and meet enrollment targets responsibly.
- Knowledge or interest in finance education and career pathways in the finance industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Pune Division.
