Position Information
Kiron is implementing the Thrive program to strengthen learners’ employability through targeted professional specializations. The Project Management track is delivered in collaboration with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and aligns with industry-recognized standards. As part of this partnership, Kiron is engaging a freelance tutor to support learners between May and October 2026.
About the Role

As a Freelance Project Management Tutor, you will facilitate live tutoring sessions primarily between May and August, guiding learners in applying project management principles in practical contexts. From September to October, your role will shift to lighter support, including reviewing projects and contributing to evaluation activities.

Your Tasks

You will;

  • Deliver the majority of live online tutoring sessions between May and August

  • Support learners in key areas such as project lifecycle management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

  • Facilitate applied exercises and case discussions aligned with PMI standards

  • Provide structured feedback on assignments and project simulations.

  • Complete a mandatory Train-the-Trainer course (approx. 20 hours) provided and funded by Kiron as part of the collaboration with PMI.

  • Coordinate closely with the Learning Designer to ensure alignment with curriculum and partnership requirements.

  • Supporting learner engagement and practical application of project management competencies.

  • Provide lighter involvement between September and October, primarily reviewing learner projects and supporting evaluation activities.

Your Profile
  • Valid PMP Certification

  • 3 years+ professional experience in Project Management, preferably at least one year in Germany

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies

  • Strong communication skills in English and, ideally, in German.

  • Experience in training, mentoring, or facilitation preferred

Our Offer
  • Weekly commitment: 2 - 4 hours

  • Agreement End: 31.10.2026

  • Hourly rate: 28 - 35€

  • PMI Train the Trainer certificate: We will cover the costs.
