About the Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager you will lead and execute Kiron’s corporate partnership strategy to expand employment pathways and secure financial support for refugees and individuals with a forced displacement background. With a strong focus on the DACH region and key programs such as THRIVE and Next Gen, this role combines strategic partnership development, fundraising, and cross-functional collaboration to drive impact and ensure program sustainability through private sector engagement.
Your Tasks
- Employer Network Expansion: Identify, engage, and maintain strategic relationships with corporate partners, particularly in the DACH region, to open employment opportunities for Kiron’s participants.
- Program Alignment: Design integrated partnership models that align with Kiron’s mission and the employment goals of our initiatives.
- Funding Model Development: Develop and implement a sustainable funding model for corporate partnerships, including donation tiers, co-funding mechanisms, or CSR-linked contributions.
- Corporate Fundraising: Actively approach corporate partners for financial support and donations in alignment with their social impact and CSR priorities.
- Storytelling & Value Creation: Craft compelling, funder-oriented narratives and partnership propositions that highlight shared value, social return, and success stories.
- Evaluation & Learning: Lead data collection and impact reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships in driving both employment and financial outcomes. Use insights and feedback to refine the funding and partnership strategy.
- Integrated Program Delivery: Collaborate closely with our Programs Team to ensure partnership activities contribute to project milestones and meaningful employment outcomes.
- LinkedIn Partnership Involvement: Support the implementation of our LinkedIn partnership in coordination with the project manager.
- Strategic Input: Act as an internal driver for corporate partnership strategy—ensuring fundraising, employment, and visibility goals are coordinated across teams.
- Community Engagement: Represent Kiron at business forums, CSR networks, and industry events to promote partnership opportunities and attract both in-kind and financial support.
- Content Development: Create high-quality partner-facing materials—such as case studies or pitch decks—that communicate the impact of corporate involvement.
- Partner Stewardship: Manage relationships with current partners to deepen their engagement.
Your Profile
- Corporate Partnership Development: Demonstrated success in identifying, initiating, and managing strategic relationships with corporate partners, ideally within nonprofit, education, or social impact contexts.
- Corporate Fundraising & Resource Mobilization: Experience securing financial support from corporate stakeholders—incl. negotiating sponsorships, unrestricted donations, co-funding models, or in-kind contributions aligned with CSR or ESG goals.
- Value-Driven Negotiation: Proven ability to develop compelling value propositions and successfully negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with corporate actors.
- Cross-Sector Stakeholder Engagement: Background in navigating and aligning diverse priorities across private sector partners and internal nonprofit teams to deliver on employment and fundraising goals.
- Program-Linked Partnerships: Hands-on experience developing partnerships that directly support talent, employment, or learning programs (e.g. internships, job placements, mentoring), ideally with a focus on inclusion or migration.
- Project Management & CRM Tools: Comfortable managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects using tools like Salesforce, Asana, or other CRM and project management systems.
- Cultural & Linguistic Fluency: Experience working in German-speaking environments.
- The ability to engage partners confidently in German and English—both written and spoken (C2).
- Understanding of CSR initiatives and how they align with organizational goals and values.
- Knowledge of funding mechanisms available through corporate partnerships, including grants and sponsorships.
- Awareness of legal and compliance issues relevant to corporate partnerships and nonprofit funding in Germany.
- Understanding of the cultural dynamics and social issues affecting refugees and displaced individuals, particularly in the German context.
- Familiarity with the professional development and employment sectors, ideally in the DACH region.
