Our team is looking to welcome a mature, motivated, mission-driven Senior Web Developer to join Khushi Baby

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and developing scalable, high-performance React.js applications.
• Implementing best practices for state management, component reusability, and maintainability.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Conducting thorough code reviews and enforcing quality standards.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams.
• Leading technical discussions and mentoring junior developers.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) with React.js, including server-side rendering (SSR), code splitting, performance optimization, and Hooks API.
• Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+) skills, including closures, prototypes, higher-order functions, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong state management expertise with Redux, or Context API for scalable apps.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Full-stack experience with Node.js, Express.js, and databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript tooling, including Babel, Webpack, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership and mentorship skills, guiding junior developers and enforcing best coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and debugging skills for performance optimization.
• Effective collaboration and communication, working with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn, staying updated with industry trends.

• Prior experience working with government officials and NHM data sets
• Publications with mixed-methods research
• Prior experience working with mHealth / digital health projects
• Excellence in English writing and communication
• Demonstrated work / experimentation in prompt-engineering for tools like ChatGPT
