As the Nodal Technical Support Partner to the Government of Rajasthan’s Department of Medical, Health, and Family Welfare, we are at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing an integrated community health platform. Our work empowers over 75,000 community health workers and health officials, impacting over 45 million lives across Rajasthan.

Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning, Khushi Baby implements precision-public health approaches in diverse areas including Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A), Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), Communicable Diseases (COVID-19, TB, vector-borne diseases), and special campaigns like Measles and Rubella elimination, and COVID-19 vaccination.

Pioneering in the field of climate x health, we developed India's first village-level climate vulnerability index, influencing policy and providing vital data at both national and international levels. Our solutions, ranked as the second-largest globally, extend beyond Rajasthan to Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Our collaborative efforts with government bodies, UN-organizations, and leaders across the public-private sectors underscore our commitment to delivering impactful health solutions.

What we require:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in the healthcare or digital health industry.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in UX research and design.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience designing for multiple screen sizes and devices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and improving the health worker experience (ASHA,ANM,etc) through technology.
  • Portfolio showcasing examples of UI/UX design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and finished products.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough user research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of our target audience, including community health workers and beneficiaries.
  • Create detailed user personas based on research findings to represent various user segments effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather design requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and refine design solutions iteratively.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS to implement frontend design elements and ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the CHIP application.
  • Create user flows to map out user journeys and interactions within the CHIP application.
  • Develop wireframes to outline the structure and layout of web and mobile interfaces, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Design posters, banners, and presentations for various campaigns and events related to the Khushi Baby project, aligning with the organization's branding guidelines.
  • Create visually engaging graphics that effectively communicate key messages to the target audience.
  • Incorporate UI animations and interactions to enhance user engagement and create a dynamic user experience within the CHIP application
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and maintain design consistency across platforms.
  • Regularly interact with community health workers in the field to obtain feedback and iteratively enhance the CHIP application.
  • Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users, iterating designs based on usability findings.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion the importance of usability and accessibility in healthcare applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, digital health, and healthcare technology to continuously improve design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers to prioritize design initiatives and contribute to the overall product roadmap, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging video content for promotional, training, and project updates, maintaining high production standards and effective storytelling.
  • Additionally, offer design support for marketing materials and presentations, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.
