About Us

Kheyti helps smallholder farmers battle climate change through the "Greenhouse-in-a-Box", a low-cost greenhouse bundled with end-to-end services. Designed for smallholders, our greenhouse fits in 2% of their land, costs 33% lower than regular greenhouses, protects crops from environmental risks and grows 7x more food with 50x water efficiency. Along with the greenhouse, we work with partners to offer farmers financing, input linkage, training and market linkage services, creating a seamless path towards steady additional incomes of upto ₹1,00,000/year, a 3x increase in farm incomes. Through a culture of farmer centric design, we've brought down the cost of the greenhouse significantly to 90% lower than mainstream greenhouses. We've created collaborations with >100 organisations to offer farmers services. We've proven the model with 300 farmers today and will be serving 2,000 farmers in 12 months. We've won various awards for our initial work and have been featured in NatGeo, Outlook Business, FastCo, and Forbes. We are supported by DRK Foundation, Mulago Foundation, Cartier Philanthropy and Acumen. Our vision is to serve a million farmers in 10 years.

Job Description

Looking for a senior leader in customer excellence and service design, obsessed with the success of Kheyti’s 5,000+ farmers. This role ensures Kheyti stays true to its farmer-first DNA across the entire lifecycle — from sales to service.

The Opportunity

We are looking to build out Kheyti’s farmer success function from the ground up, and this leader will be at the heart of it. Kheyti’s farmer base is growing rapidly across India, and we need someone who can design the philosophy, systems, and team needed to deliver world-class service at scale. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at the intersection of farmer wellbeing, operational excellence, and product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become the foremost ‘farmer-centric champion’ in the organization - working closely with agronomists and field coaches to understand farmers’ pain points & demands

  • Design a philosophy and model of post-installation service delivery and farmer training that effectively balances impact per farmer with efficiency + cost to serve

  • Serve as the key advisor and ‘co-product manager’ with software & product experts to build and integrate digital solutions into our farmer engagement lifecycle

  • Develop business cases for product additions and/or enhancements based on developing farmer needs and commercial opportunities

  • Embed a robust M&E system to improve recurring impact measurement, helping define and track ‘north star’ farmer success metrics such as NPS and increases in median income

  • Develop a customer data intake and continuous improvement feedback system to remain closely aligned with the needs of Kheyti’s farmers

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a mission-driven leader who combines deep empathy for farmers with the rigor to build scalable systems. The ideal candidate has led large service or customer success teams, obsesses over quality-of-life outcomes, and knows how to balance impact with efficiency. They are equally comfortable in the field with farmers and in the boardroom with data — and are energized by the challenge of building something that truly matters.

Must-Haves

  • 8+ years leading service delivery, customer success, or sales operations at scale

  • Proven track record designing post-sales service models balancing impact with cost

  • Strong data orientation — sets KPIs, tracks metrics, and drives decisions from data

  • Experience building and managing large, distributed field teams

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience in agri-tech, rural development, or last-mile service delivery

  • Familiarity with NPS, CSAT, or farmer success measurement frameworks

Not a Fit

  • Those who need a fully defined playbook — this role requires building one

  • Those unwilling to travel extensively or engage directly in rural, on-ground contexts
