We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to fill a hybrid role as a Community Coordinator, Payment Manager, and Content Reviewer.

You will help foster a positive community environment, oversee financial transactions, and ensure the quality of app content through internal reviews and testing. The role requires working with marginalised communities, and treating individuals with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in English and fluency in at least one regional language (mentioned below) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community Coordination
    1. Serve as the main point of contact for community members and app users, particularly from marginalised communities.
    2. Organise and facilitate community engagement activities, training sessions, and onboarding processes with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
    3. Provide first-level support to address user inquiries, concerns, or complaints, ensuring quick resolution and maintaining a smooth, respectful experience.
    4. Actively collect, document, and relay feedback from users to the project and technical teams to inform improvements in product design, services, and operational processes.
    5. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and partners.
    6. Ensure that interactions are inclusive and supportive, fostering trust within the community.
    7. Keep clear records of engagement activities, attendance, and outcomes to support project monitoring and reporting.
  2. Payment Management:
    1. Oversee financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
    2. Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial reports in collaboration with the Project Manager.
    3. Ensure invoicing is handled properly and maintain financial records.
    4. Address any payment-related issues and coordinate with external partners on financial matters.

  3. Content Review & Internal App Testing:
    1. Regularly review app content, ensuring it aligns with project guidelines and quality standards.
    2. Conduct internal testing of new app features, updates, or workflows to identify potential bugs, usability issues, or gaps in user experience.
    3. Collaborate with developers and content creators to troubleshoot and improve the app’s functionality.
    4. Ensure all content is user-friendly, culturally relevant, and meets the community’s needs.
    5. Assist in creating FAQs, user guides, or training materials that support users in navigating the app confidently.

Required Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in community coordination, financial management, or content review roles.
  2. Degree or diploma in social sciences, business management, or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in English and any one of the following regional languages: Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Manipuri, Bengali, Bodo, Assamese, Santali, Maithili, Odiya, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu.
  4. Experience working with marginalised communities and a deep understanding of their challenges and needs.
  5. Familiarity with basic digital tools or mobile applications used in community settings (training will be provided as needed).
  6. Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, basic data-handling tools (e.g., Notepad++, Google Colab) and structured file formats such as JSON is a strong plus.

  2. Empathetic and show respect in dealing with diverse and marginalised communities.
  3. Detail oriented, particularly in managing financial transactions and ensuring content quality.
  4. Basic Excel skills to review and analyse data.
  5. Able to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing project needs.
  6. A problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement.

Please note: This is a contract position for a period of 6 months. There will be an opportunity to convert this into a permanent role dependent on project need and individual performance.
