Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager to own and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key product areas. This role will be responsible for translating program and field requirements into clear product outcomes, align product vision with organizational goals, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions for underserved populations.

The PM will act as the single point of ownership for the product scope. Acts as the single accountable owner for defined product areas. Makes final prioritization calls in alignment with leadership. Drives trade-off decisions between scope, time, and quality.
  • Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the organization's existing products or services, if any, and their impact on the target audience. Define and evolve the product vision aligned with organizational and impact goals.

  • Quality & Outcomes: Ensure product quality, usability, and adherence to project objectives. Track key metrics related to adoption, performance, and issue resolution. Drive continuous improvements based on feedback and data

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities within the non-profit sector. Analyze data to inform product decisions.

  • User Research: Engage with end-users, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their needs, pain points, and expectations.

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to document product requirements, prioritize features, and define user stories and use cases.

  • Product Development Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to Partner with Design and Engineering to shape solutions into actionable development tasks. Assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Track milestones, dependencies, and release plans. Ensure timely UAT, rollout, and post-release monitoring

  • Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including PRD’s, SOPs,user guides, release notes, and feature specifications.

  • Feedback Loop: Continuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders and use this information to iterate on product features and improvements.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate product updates, progress, and timelines to both internal and external stakeholders.


Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Health, Hospital management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
Proven experience of at least 5 - 6 years as a Product Manager, preferably digital health sector.

Skill Sets:
  • Product Management: Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Tools : Expert in using tools like Atlassian Jira,
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for conveying ideas, presenting product updates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Skill in collaborating with various stakeholders, including developers, designers, and end-users.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Focus on user needs, with the ability to empathize and gather insights through user research.
  • Project Management: Basic project management skills to assist in planning, monitoring progress, and keeping timelines on track.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues or roadblocks during the product development process.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to handle new responsibilities in a dynamic non-profit environment.
  • Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaboration skills to foster a positive, cross-functional work environment and share insights with colleagues
