Job Description

Associate Finance Analyst will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. She/he will assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures

  • Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

  • Maintain proper books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards

Compliance & Statutory

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, and other applicable laws

  • Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits

  • Handle notices and queries from tax authorities and ensure timely closures

Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Monitor expenses and control costs to improve financial efficiency

  • Provide MIS reports and financial dashboards to management

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization

  • Oversee banking relationships, payments, and reconciliations

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and approvals

  • Support Leadership with financial recommendations


Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field

Experience: Proven experience of at least 2-4 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting


Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Working Knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Zoho)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements
