Job Description
Associate Finance Analyst will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. She/he will assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures
Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Maintain proper books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards
Compliance & Statutory
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, and other applicable laws
Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits
Handle notices and queries from tax authorities and ensure timely closures
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Monitor expenses and control costs to improve financial efficiency
Provide MIS reports and financial dashboards to management
Cash Flow & Treasury
Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization
Oversee banking relationships, payments, and reconciliations
Team & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and approvals
Support Leadership with financial recommendations
Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
Experience: Proven experience of at least 2-4 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Working Knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of financial modeling and reporting tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Zoho)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements
