Job Description
Advocacy & Reporting:
Collaborate with the State National Health Mission (NHM) for strengthening eSanjeevani national telemedicine services in the state.
Advocate with state health departments and partners for innovative approaches to improve telemedicine service delivery.
Advocate for the integration of telemedicine into 12 comprehensive primary health care services envisaged under the Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAMs)
Prepare regular reports on program progress, achievements, and challenges for government stakeholders, Intelehealth management, and donors.
Ensure that the eSanjeevani telemedicine program activities are adequately financed under the PIP mechanism within the state.
Overall Program Leadership:
Leading the telemedicine program in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring its success and alignment with the National Health mission.
Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans, including setting goals, timelines, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.
Ensure operational plans align with Intelehealth's overall strategy, donor requirements, and local health priorities.
Implementation & Management:
Oversee all aspects of telemedicine program implementation, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timelines in collaboration with NHM
Mentor a team of project managers recruited under the Government and other government officials at the state and district level to ensure the efficient execution of programs.
Monitor program progress, identify and address challenges, and implement corrective measures as needed.
Ensure programs meet donor commitments and achieve desired results through effective coaching and mentorship.
Partnership & Collaboration:
Establish strong partnerships with local NHM officials, government entities, and districts for program implementation.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders to ensure program buy-in and sustainability.
Collaborate with various teams, including technical staff and implementation partners, to achieve program goals.
Collaborate effectively within Intelehealth for ensuring effective and quality implementation of the deliverables.
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
Develop a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework in coordination with the Intelehealth MLE team to track program performance.
Identify key metrics related to program implementation, service delivery, and client outcomes.
Implement data collection systems and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and impact.
Provide recommendations to the technical team for platform improvements based on program needs and stakeholder feedback.
Assist the MLE team in conducting various research studies and facilitate partner engagement for implementing program evaluation studies, including cost-effectiveness and policy impact evaluations.
Collaborate with state health departments/institutes to obtain ethics committee approvals for research studies.
Analyze program data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for program improvement and platform enhancement.
Training & Capacity Building:
Develop training modules in coordination with state health departments and Intelehealth clinical teams.
Incorporate the Comprehensive Primary Health Care Services package under AB-HWC into training programs.
Plan and execute training programs for healthcare providers, staff, and community members on telemedicine services and clinical guidelines.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to local teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to sustain the program.
Be prepared to take on any other tasks assigned by the organization as needed to support the successful implementation of eSanjeevani telemedicine services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree. People with a background in Public Health, Social Work, and rural Development would be at an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 6-8 years of prior experience in implementing health programs independently and working with government stakeholders
Managing the program and team independently is highly preferred
Experience in technology-based or ICT4D projects is highly desired
Strong field experience working in rural and urban areas is desirable
Excellent project management skills.
Ensures day-to-day operations
Strong understanding of M&E methods in ICT4D preferred
Excellent writing skills
Good communication skills
Ability to wear multiple hats, take leadership
Creativity and an innovative mindset to improve programs and drive impact.
Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time. Can be based from their home location
