This is a remote position.


About the position:

We’re looking for an outstanding Monitoring and Evaluation Manager who would be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the monitoring and evaluation, research and learning framework of all projects. The M&E Manager will report to the Director M&E and support in coordination and supervision in collaboration with the Sr.Manager MLE across different projects, timelines and requirements of the organization to ensure the successful evidence generation for the organization across all the projects. The M&E Manager will be developing a project specific TOC and MLE framework and implement them to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project. He/she will also provide technical assistance to our internal team members regarding evidence required for proposal development and other data requirement. For this he/she will put necessary data structures in place. The person so be expert in writing reports and independent write papers and support the team for finalizing all research outcome related deliverables.



Requirements

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Manage the team to ensure the following activities are conducted for the successful monitoring and evaluation of programs

Development:

  • Develop detailed methodology for implementation research studies from RFPs, study designs, tools, analytical plan, data collection plan, etc.

  • Analyze and interpret the data gathered as part of the different evaluation studies to generate the necessary evidence as per business requirements.

  • Develop project log frames, particularly in the areas of performance indicators and their measurement for various project

  • Prepare the reports and manuscripts amd review the

  • as per the KPIs to fulfill the evidence generation needs of the MLE team as per the organization strategy

  • Manage project review, impact assessment, final evaluation etc.

  • Analyze the regular monitoring data generated by the organization to deliver the necessary materials for organizational evidence-based communication material.


Implementation:

  • Support in periodical review the quality of data collected in the project; analyse and aggregate findings

  • Manage collection of data on a regular basis (mind-term, annual) to measure achievement against the performance indicators.

  • Manage reporting on quality and accurate indicators as per the MLE framework.

  • Review and update Programs org dashboard along with Tech team as per requirements.


Communication:

  • Support in producing reports, presentations and peer-reviewed papers on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.

  • Support in data requirements for donors key metrics progress at project and organisation level.

  • Provide the Project Manager with management information she/he may require.

  • Check that monitoring data is discussed in appropriate forums and in a timely fashion for quality checks.

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of MLE and the CEO.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters in Public Health, Demography, Bio-statistics, Health Economics.
  • Experience working in a public health or digital health space for at least 5 years
  • Prior experience in an M&E managerial position in some form of a supervision role for at least 1 year

  • You have excellent writing skills for reporting, manuscript and evidence based communication document for various types of audiences.
  • Have excellent analytical skills for evidence generation, quality assurance and monitoring purpose
  • You’re able to manage and guide others effectively and have good interpersonal skills.
  • You have good visualization application and organizational skills.
  • You’re able to build on relevant knowledge within and outside Intelehealth as well as actively share her/his experience and expertise with colleagues and partners.
  • You can see the big picture - you are able to look beyond the numbers and understand the meaning of the data with context to translate into insights for continuous improvement of the programs and the organisation.
