Our path-breaking, proprietary integrated mobile communication and registration solutions help school districts build vibrant, connected afterschool and summer communities that help youth learn and grow. Our vision is to build city-wide networks for underserved youth. We currently serve 67 school districts including San Jose, Oakland, San Diego, and Kansas City, and we are expanding.

Who You Are
Ideal candidates will have most or all of the following:
- 5-7+ years experience supporting SaaS product development/management, ideally for products that are used by school districts, parents, and/or afterschool and summer camp providers.
- Passion for overcoming barriers to access for underserved children and youth and have worked or volunteered in any capacity to help underserved children
- Experience driving successful development and launch of SaaS products at scale, both web and mobile-based, for large customers/partners.
- An aptitude for understanding client objectives and being a customer advocate.
- Very comfortable in recruiting, designing, and conducting user tests to develop empathy and deep understanding of user motivations.
- Strong facilitation skills particularly in product management and design processes that help us prioritize and weigh trade-offs.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss product and technical concepts and evaluate innovative new ideas.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to analyze research and user tests, make recommendations, and drive actions.
- Expert user of Figma or other collaborative design tools.
- Must be willing to undergo a mandatory fingerprinting and background check to comply with state and federal laws that protect student data security and privacy.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partnering with the CEO and Development Team to define, prioritize, and deliver a high quality user experience.
- Managing the end-to-end product development process by measuring key product metrics against goals to inform success of each release and plan iterations accordingly.
- Reaching out to gain a deep understanding of our users (low-income families, school districts, and program providers), observing how they use the service and what they like/dislike.
- Translating user needs into detailed user stories, product requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Ensuring features are delivered on time and function as desired, updating product documentation for training purposes.
- Analyzing user feedback and data to understand user needs and refine product usability.
- Supporting client fulfillment managers to ensure customer success.
- Leading research projects that help develop InPlay’s product strategy.
